The Honolulu Marathon isn’t just another foot race — it’s one of the largest and most welcoming marathons in the United States. Held every December with roots back to 1973.
In 2025, more than 42,000 participants registered for the marathon weekend, including runners from Hawai‘i, Japan, the continental U.S., and beyond, making it one of the most globally diverse fields in the event’s history.
